Anyone who thought they'd seen all XanGo has to offer got an eyeful of new experience last week at the INVASION, the XanGo 5th Anniversary Convention. Through four days of the most beautiful October weather you could find anywhere, XanGo welcomed its devoted distributors by the thousands into Salt Lake City. They came. They invaded.
Convention began taking shape for the 100K, 200K and 500K XanGo distributors last Wednesday, October 24, with the Black Tie Dinner in The Gateway's hot spot, The Depot. Then, bright and early the next beautiful morning, the Premier Leadership Meeting stirred up the air a healthy dose more as CEO Aaron Garrity declared XanGo is poised for the greatest growth in direct sales history… ever. The scene really started swinging when the XanGo Store opened for business. Now, there aren't many stores that come off more rock concert than place of business, but this year's edition of the XanGo Store was exactly that: both a place to be as well as a place to buy.
By Thursday night, an astronomical amount of XanGo distributors had entered the INVASION Space Station to officially and totally open up XanGo Convention with the Welcome Reception. Gary Hollister, XanGo's very own chairman, put the official seal on it with his personal welcome.
Friday saw the fully unleashed version of INVASION as XanGo treated the masses to General Session I. With a hint of events to come in the oncoming year and a nod towards the recent Double Up promotion winners, the overall message was clear and strong: it's a very good time to be a XanGo distributor.
The following Futureland Dance Party invited an early Halloween, with costumes both inventive and surprising invading the Salt Palace. Martians and space-men were a norm. Teletubbies attended. Futuristic fashion statements were both seen and heard.
General Session II started Saturday morning right with an onslaught of historical announcements. President of Sales & Marketing Gordon Morton revealed the XanGo Goodness Meal Pack, a miles-ahead development in feeding the malnourished children of the world. CMO John Digles dropped the huge news of XanGo TV next. Like a YouTube for distributors, this new website for XanGo podcasts and videos is already chock-full of XanGo videos… and XanGo TV has room for millions more. XanGo is the FIRST company to leverage brand-centric online video sharing at this level. First. Does that sound familiar? It should by now.
How to finish off such a bombshell event? Give away the promised prizes, including the XANGO FJ Cruiser and Mini Cooper, and put Keith Harrell up on stage to make sure the energy that powered Convention carries out into XanGo business. In the words of CEO Aaron Garrity in General Session III: "Now, after all the speeches and all the music is over, it's time again to go out there and get it done."
XanGo has invaded.
